Working principle

Self-triggering protection

Direct system

A heat-sensitive polymer tube runs inside the panel; at the point of fire the tube bursts and the suppressant is discharged right at that spot. No power supply, fully mechanical.

Indirect system

The detection tube triggers, and discharge is delivered to the whole panel volume through a separate nozzle line — for larger panels and cabinets.

Consider it together with room protection

The in-panel system is the first line of defense; for critical spaces, layered protection with room-type gaseous suppression is recommended.
