Data Protection Notice (KVKK)

As data controller under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we explain here how we process your personal data.

Last updated: 30.07.2026

This notice has been prepared by Trio Yangın (the "Company") as data controller, in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and related legislation, regarding the processing of your personal data.

01

Data Controller

Under KVKK, your personal data is processed by the data controller Trio Yangın within the scope described below.

  • Legal name: Trio Yangın Söndürme Sistemleri Ltd. Şti.
  • Address: Aydıntepe Mah. Alaaddin Sk. Evora A-4 No: 7/8, 34947 Tuzla / İstanbul
  • Email: satis@trioyangin.com
  • Phone: +90 533 296 93 64

02

Personal Data We Process

When you complete the quote form, the following is processed, only to the extent you provide it:

  • Identity and contact data: full name or company name, email address or phone number
  • Request data: the type of space to be protected, your topic of interest, and your message if any

Separately, your visit is measured even if you never complete the form. This measurement is cookieless and writes nothing to your device; the records are not linked to your identity and are used in aggregate. What reaches the servers during measurement is: your IP address, your browser and device information, the pages you visit, which link, search or campaign tag you arrived from, the approximate location (country/city) derived from your IP address, your click and scroll positions on the page, the time you spend on a page, technical records about the film on the landing page (how much of it you saw, which scene you stopped at, how long you paused before each scene, which input you used — scroll, touch, keyboard or the on-screen arrow —, whether you skipped it, whether and how many times you watched it again, the picture quality and file size served to your device, and whether your device played it without trouble), page loading speed measurements, technical error records produced by your browser, and the fact that you submitted the quote form (not its contents). The film's outcome is also attached to your later page measurements within the same visit, so that the experience of visitors who watched it can be compared with those who did not. These records are not used to identify you. The measurement itself writes nothing to your device; the only record the site keeps on your device is the marker written to your browser's session memory so the film does not play again in the same session, and it is deleted when you close the tab (see the Cookie Policy).

03

Purposes of Processing

Your data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your quote and information requests and to contact you
  • To prepare a quote for the service you request and manage the process
  • To understand how the site is used, measure which sections draw attention, and improve the content accordingly
  • To verify that the site works correctly and quickly on your device, and to find and fix errors, slowness and problems playing the film
  • To protect the quote form and the site against abuse
  • To fulfill our legal obligations

04

Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5 of KVKK:

  • Direct relevance to the establishment or performance of a request or contract (Art. 5/2-c)
  • Necessity of processing for the legitimate interests of the Company (Art. 5/2-f)
  • Fulfillment of a legal obligation where required (Art. 5/2-ç)

Visit measurement, page speed measurements and technical error records are processed on the legitimate interest ground in Article 5/2-f, for the purpose of verifying that the site works correctly and improving it. You may object to this processing by writing to satis@trioyangin.com, and you can also stop the measurement on your own side using your browser's tracking-prevention settings.

05

Method of Collection

Your data is collected through the quote form on our website, by electronic means, and only to the extent you provide it. If you choose to contact us directly using the phone numbers or the email address published on the site, the information you share in that contact is processed within the same scope.

In addition, to prevent abuse of the form, your IP address is held at the moment of submission in the server's temporary memory only, for a short period; it is not stored permanently, not added to the email, and not used for any other purpose. This processing falls under Article 5/2-f of KVKK (legitimate interest).

Data relating to visit measurement, by contrast, is collected automatically through your browser while you are browsing the site, even if you never complete a form.

06

Transfer of Personal Data

Your data is shared only to the extent necessary to fulfill your request, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, with the service providers named below:

  • Resend (email delivery — Ireland, European Union): carries the contents of your quote form to our mailbox.
  • Vercel (site hosting — USA/EU): technically sees your IP address and browser information while serving the site.
  • Cloudflare R2 (delivery of image and video files — USA/EU): sees your IP address when the page fetches its imagery and video.
  • PostHog EU (cookieless visit measurement — European Union): receives the page address, IP address, browser information, click and scroll positions on the page, time spent on a page, how the film was played, page loading speed measurements and technical error records; writes nothing to your device.
  • OpenFreeMap (map tiles on the Contact page): sees your IP address when you view the map. It is an open, free map source; there is no service agreement between us, and it sees your data as an independent party rather than on our instructions.
  • Authorized public institutions and bodies, where requested

These providers process your data only to provide their service to us, on our instructions. Where a transfer abroad is involved, it is carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of KVKK.

07

Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for the resolution of your request, a reasonable follow-up period, and the periods prescribed by applicable legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Visit-measurement records are kept, unlinked from your identity, for the retention period of our measurement provider (PostHog EU) and are used only in aggregate reports.

08

Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • To request information if it has been processed
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
  • To know the third parties, domestic or abroad, to whom the data has been transferred
  • To request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
  • To request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK
  • To request that correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
  • To object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis of the processed data
  • To claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing

Additional Information for Visitors in the EU/EEA and the UK (GDPR)

This site is offered in English as well as Turkish and is therefore addressed to visitors outside Türkiye. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies to you, the following applies in addition to the KVKK disclosures above. Nothing in this section reduces the rights described above.

Legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR). We rely on: performance of, or steps prior to entering into, a contract for your quote request (Art. 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, in protecting the form from abuse, and in measuring how the site is used and whether it works correctly on your device (Art. 6(1)(f)); and compliance with our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). We do not rely on consent for these purposes. We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Our analytics compares groups of visits — for example those that watched the landing-page film against those that did not — and is not used to evaluate, score or make decisions about any individual.

Providing your data is voluntary. There is no statutory or contractual requirement to complete the form — but without the name and a contact detail we cannot prepare a quote or reply to you.

Your rights. In addition to the rights listed above you may request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability; you may object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests; and where processing is ever based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Requests reach us at satis@trioyangin.com.

Right to complain to a supervisory authority. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence, place of work, or the place where you believe the infringement occurred. In Türkiye the competent authority is the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (KVKK).

International transfers (Chapter V GDPR). We are established in Türkiye, so personal data you send us is processed in Türkiye. Türkiye is not the subject of a European Commission adequacy decision, and some of the providers named above process data in the United States. For the providers we engage under contract — Vercel, Resend, Cloudflare and PostHog — we rely, where a transfer out of the EEA or the UK takes place, on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable) as concluded with that provider, together with its technical and organisational safeguards. OpenFreeMap is an open, free map endpoint we have no agreement with; it receives your IP address as an independent party when the Contact page's map loads. You may ask us for information about the safeguards applied to a specific transfer.

Retention. As stated above, your data is kept for the resolution of your request, a reasonable follow-up period, and any period required by law, and is then deleted.

EU representative (Art. 27 GDPR). We have not appointed a representative in the Union. The data controller has stated that it has no customers in the European Union and carries on no commercial activity directed at the EU: the company is established in Türkiye and does its business there, and the English version of this site exists for visibility rather than as an offer of goods or services to the Union. That statement does not switch this section off — the GDPR section applies either way. EU visitors' personal data continues to be processed in handling enquiries you send us and in measuring how the site is used and whether it works correctly. That measurement is cookieless, is not linked to your identity, and includes no special categories of data, but it does run on every visit and the resulting records are retained by our measurement provider. Whether an obligation to appoint a representative arises — including whether the Art. 27(2)(a) exemption for occasional processing covers this — is being assessed by the data controller in the light of that statement, and this notice will state the outcome. If a representative is appointed, they will be named here.
