Foam & Water Sprinklers
Adjustable Deluge Sprinkler
A ½-inch adjustable open-type sprinkler used in deluge systems. When the control valve — triggered by a separate fire-detection system — opens, water discharges from all sprinklers at once.
Features
- Standard sprinklers are used, but all are open. The system operates when the control valve at the pipe-network inlet opens.
- The control valve is normally kept closed. It is actuated and opened by a separate fire-detection system.
Application areas
Deluge systems are used to control rapidly spreading fires and in spaces where a large volume of water is needed in a short time.
